Our Story

A production house
born in Tunisia.

CTV Productions & Services was founded in Tunis in 1989 by Abdelaziz Ben Mlouka. Thirty-five years later, it remains a family house, now led by his son Sami Ben Mlouka, a graduate of INSAS Brussels, and one of North Africa's most experienced partners for international production.

Over the decades, CTV has worked alongside major studios, global broadcasters and leading brands. We produce our own films, co-produce with international partners, and deliver commercial productions across the region. Not as a service provider. As a production company, in every sense of the word.

Tunisia is our home ground. We know it the way only time can teach. The locations, the crews, the logistics, the rhythms of production in this part of the world. That knowledge, built over three decades, is what we bring to every project.

Episodes I & II
Tunisia became Tatooine. CTV managed the full service production on the ground for both Star Wars prequel films: local crew, complete logistics, and the design, construction and installation of the sets that brought George Lucas's universe to life. The architecture of an entire galaxy was conceived and built here, in the Tunisian desert. It remains one of the most ambitious service production achievements in North African film history.

Abdelaziz Ben Mlouka founded CTV Productions & Services in 1989, after a long career at SATPEC, the Tunisian Company of Cinematographic Production. He built CTV from the ground up into one of North Africa's most trusted names in international production. Under his leadership, CTV delivered some of the most ambitious productions ever filmed in Tunisia, including Star Wars Episodes I and II for Lucasfilm, and the Grand Prix du Jury winner at Cannes 2006, Flandres.

Ben Mlouka
Sami Ben Mlouka is a Tunisian producer and cross-border producer. A graduate of ISAMM and INSAS Brussels, he joined CTV in 2011 and has since produced feature films, premium series and commercial productions for major international studios and platforms including Netflix, Amazon MGM Studios, Canal+, BBC and SkyShowtime. He also leads cross-border production in Saudi Arabia, working directly on the ground.
